What causes Arthritis

Arthritis can be caused by many factors. One of the factor can be due to nutritional deficiencies. This usually involves calcium depletion, or a diet poor in fresh vegetables and high in acid and mucous-producing foods. Arthritic conditions can also be related to unbalanced body chemistry (acid pH), imbalances of the body's glands and the hormones they produce, genetic (family) history, allergic reactions to foods, auto-immune reactions (when the body's immune system attacks itself), and stressful lifestyles or environments.
Whereas some arthritic problems are mainly due to an accumulation of waste matter that has settled in specified areas of the body such as knee, hand and lower back. In some cases, uric acid is the culprit and will attack the cartilage of the joints, the tendons, or other tissues.
