Diabetes - What should I do?

Read this article to me

Over the past 20 years, the number of adults diagnosed with diabetes has increased more than doubled, and children are being diagnosed with diabetes in alarming numbers. Diabetes has rapidly emerged as a leading culprit in the epidemic of heart disease that is sweeping the country, and it is a leading cause of amputation and blindness among adults. In fact, this illness has started to attracted government’s attention. So what is Diabetes? Diabetes is a condition defined by high levels of sugar in the blood and the body’s inability to make or use insulin.

Consequences of Ignoring Diabetes
The consequences of uncontrolled diabetes are severe: blindness, kidney failure, increased risk of heart disease, and painful peripheral nerve damage. In fact, ten thousands of people lose their eyesight everyday due to diabetes.

Types of Diabetes
The three most common patterns of diabetes have been recognized over the last thirty years as type 1 , type 2 and gestational diabetics (type 3), although these three "types" of diabetes are more accurately considered patterns of pancreatic failure rather than single diseases.

Type 1 is more serious type of diabetes and typically first appears in children and young adults. Type 1 is an autoimmune condition that occurs when the body attacks and destroys the cells (called beta cells) that make insulin. So injection of insulin is needed.

Type 2 is more common but less drastic as compared to Type 1. About 80% of people with Type 2 are overweight. There is a strong association with obesity and with aging, although in the last decade it has increasingly begun to affect older children and adolescents.

Another common type is gestational diabetes. It develops during pregnancy and may improve or disappear after delivery. Even though it may be transient, gestational diabetes may damage the health of the fetus or mother, and about 40% of women with gestational diabetes develop type 2 diabetes later in life.

Recovery Methods
Mainstream medicine offers little real help with diabetes other than lifetime of drugs and devastating potential effects. Luckily Dr Robert O Young ‘s New Biology on pH Miracle for Diabetes helps people to reclaim their health without side effects. Based on Dr Robert O Young’s New Biology, diabetes is not a disease of the pancreas or the beta cells. Rather it is the result of a pH imbalance in the fluids of the body – systemic acidosis – that infers with optimum functioning of the cells they surround. Having an acidic environment also allows yeast, fungi, mould, bacteria and viruses continue to live and grow in our body.

Steps to improve the condition of diabetes

  1. The first step is to hydrate your body with water and prime pH. Our Coffee, pop, beer, dairy, lattes, etc… (especially harmful are carbonation and artificial sweeteners) do NOT hydrate our body and certainly do not count towards the 3 liters of water we should drink each day. Especially when you consider that many of the liquids that most of us usually end up consuming actually end up having the opposite effect on our bodies. Not only do they not hydrate us they also end up significantly increasing the acidity of our inner terrain (as does the rest of the Standard American Diet – or ‘SAD’). When our inner terrain’s pH levels are constantly out of balance, it creates an environment that’s conducive/susceptible to, and prime for, sickness, disease, aches and pains, ailments, loss of energy, the overgrowth of yeasts, bacteria, molds and fungus, weight gain, diabetes, digestive problems, acne, allergies, etc… In short, premature aging!
  2. Drink Supergreen and other Supplements. Supergreen is needed to change your eating and drinking habits. Other supplements are needed It is also an important supplement to protect your health.
  3. Change your diet – More alkaline items should include in your meal.
  4. Exercise almost everyday. Exercise helps to alkaline our body. It is important to hydrate our body with enough alkaline water so as not to over-acidify our body.
  5. Check your sugar levels daily. Two methods to test your blood sugar are glucose meter and visual glucose strips. Glucose meters are battery operated machines ranging from pen-sized to calculator sized. By placing a drop of blood on paper strip and insert into the device will give you the sugar level readings. Visual glucose strips are thin plastic strips with two small color blocks. By dropping your blood on the color blocks, they change color depending on the amount of sugar in the blood. So by comparing the color to a color chart, your sugar level can be identified. Watching your levels closely when follow the pH miracle plan will let you see your sugar levels drop significantly impacts the amount of insulin you will need. The American Diabetes Association guidelines for interpreting blood sugar results are as follows:
    ADA Blood Sugar Guidelines
Fasting 1 1/2 -2 hrs after eating Bedtime
    Normal Less than 110 mg/dl Less than 140 mg/dl Less than 120 mg/dl
    Acceptable 80-120 mg/dl Less than 80 mg/dl 100 - 140 mg/dl
    Needs Improvement Under 80 mg/dl ;
    Over 140 mg/dl
    More than 200mg/dl Under100 mg/dl ; over 160 mg/dl
  6. Manage your stress levels and pursue a positive attitude. Our stress levels can affect our health and make our body acidic. So it is important to know how to destress ourselves. There are many methods to destress oneself such as yoga and listening to classic music. The next thing is do is always to maintain positive thinking. Positive thoughts and emotion will help to maintain harmony whereas negative thoughts will increase the acidity of the body and thus increase the release the sugar.
  7. Avoid milk and cheese.
  8. Cleanse your body by having liquid feast  for 10 days. This a way to detox your body and get your body mechanics working again. Please note, this is not a fast! You can still eat as much as you want but limit to the alkaline food only. Drinking of at least 4 liters of Supergreen each day. A bit of carrot and beet juice CAN be added if you have low sugar level but CANNOT be added if you are having hyperglycemia.
